Wasn't I just here yesterday with an entire series update? Look Round

I started a new thread since this is a big update too.

Well, Hasbro is going into overdrive sending out pictures for all their major lines this week and MLP seems to be no different. Now we have the "New Friends" asst, Wave 5, to look forward too. I remember someone yesterday commenting that since we have Unicorns we seem to be losing Pegasuses, and this asst is made to please with 1 Unicorn and 2 Pegasuses. The paint schemes seem more down to earth, but the random name generator they use is really creating some weird names this time around.

I love Sunrise Song and Pearly Pie (what a name!!!). Sunrise's symbol is so cute, and I love the colors in Pearly Pie's wings. (her symbol is adorable as well!)

I love the unicorn!!!! She's SO CUTE! And the pegasus ponies are such thrills, like Aruro Mist and the yellow peg is exciting. FINALLY A YELLOW PEG! Now if only Hasbro would give us an orange and green peg too ^^

Wow!!! I just love the new pegs especially Pearly Pie, so pretty. And Sunrise Song will definately be on my want list.

Now the 2 earth ponies are a different story. I don't really care fot the ribbon thing and what's up with Love-A-Belle? :eh:
She looks like Hasbro took some kids Valentine craft project and stuck it on her but. Can you imagine her being animated? Her but heart would constantly be getting caught on things and knocking stuff over.
What was Hasbro thinking? Crazy

Sunrise Song, Love-A-Belle and Pearly Pie are my favorites. I absolutely love Sunrise Song's parrot! I'm kind of sad that Aurora Mist looks nearly identical to Silver Glow, because I like the blue pegs the best. But I'll probably get her anyway.

Wow. Could the names get any worse? I hate just about every name in the CP line. I pray to the gods of ponies that these girls come out next month, because if the line continues next year, I'll kill myself. I hate these names.

Lovey Dovey Mk II's deisgn is totally redundant; she's almost an exact copy, just in a worse pose!

Having said that, I'm all over the yellow peg, and Aurora Mist. The parrot design on Sunrise Song is also quite cute. Smile

Whoo, Aurora Mist = Silver Glow's sister. They're totally similar.

I think other than that, I'll only get the unicorn from this assortment and the last one.

I really love the new uni poses, and since they're coming out the slowest at the moment(a good thing for me, I'm running out of space) I think I really just want to make it my goal to get all the unicorns...and only the unicorns.

(That won't last, but it'll do for now. I have bunches of G3s.)

startin to see some recycling of ponies again! I don't mind if it changes from earth to uni to peg using the same color scheme, don't mind too much. but not a peg as a remade peg etc! Aurora Mist is Silver Glow with a different symbol while Pearly Pie the peg looks like Gem Blossom the earth.

Awww Sunrise Song is too cute! Love her colors, and i defiantly want her. I think Love-A-Belle is really cute but I wish there was more to her symbol, seems kinda plain otherwise she'd be gorgeous. One of my fav poses, i bet she'll look more prettier outside the box hehe. And Pearly Pie rocks!

Wow!

The unicorn is gorgeous with a cute cutie mark, luv the dark red hair .. I'm surprised that both new unicorns are purple but ... ;P

Aurora Mist is gorgeous ... yeah, she's kinda similar in colour to Silver Glow, but she's got a softer colour, and they match her seashell/starfish theme very well ... luv the aqua tail!

No kidding about Lovey Dovey II - sisters I guess? Like Royal Twist and Daisy May? Wink

The Ribbon one is less inspired ...

And they sure chose the right Peg pose for Yellow! She's stunning, and now I can finally make an nice orange peg in that pose!

I need them all ... come to Canada babies!!

One question... WHAT is with Hasbro and these 3D symbols that jump off the pony's rear? o_O And all of the ribbons and stuff sticking out of them. Yeesh!

Once again, Hasbro will have my money as usual, lol. But I'm not as impressed with this set as the other ones posted yesterday. Love-a-belle (whatever her name is) is really 'blah' to me. And that symbol is like O_o!! But Sunrise Song and Aurora Mist are awesome. And a yellow peg, yay! Some nice ones, but I was drooling more over the other wave.

Hate to nitpick, but two of those ponies look like ones we're already seen...Blushie and Rhapsody Ribbon look like twins and Lovey Dovey and Love-a-Bell ARE twins, even with similar names!

I am loving the unicorns and pegasus ponies though! Especially that yellow peg!

Aurora Mist is beautiful, so is the uni, and the yellow pegasus. Love-a-belle is not one I really like.

I see them! It looks like there could also be a simular design on her front foot too? The MLP logo of the cardbord is obscuring most, but you can just see an odd red bump, that would fit w/ the back foot design and isn't part of the logo. I'm looking forward to seeing her in person - or even differnet pictures!

edit: Or as my BF just pointed out - it could just be the heart that's on their front leg... ^^; . . . but i'm crossing my fingers for the design!

Well, like usual, I don't like the Crystal Design ponies AT ALL, but I LOVE all the rest! These and the ones from the "part one" of this post are some of my favorite G3s yet I think! Glad I might have a job in a few months.......it looks like I'll need it!!! LOL

Hasbro sure has a thing for pie. :eh:

I like most of those apart from Love-A-Belle. But I'm not sure I like the new 'technicolour' style of symbols, like the uni and a lot of the other new waves of ponies seem to be having, especially the 'cutie cascade' ones...is it just me? They just look too bold, or something to me. Huh

Love a belle is my least favorite pony in a while...her symbol is toooo big! She sorta looks like lovey dovey on steroids.
Aura mist looks a little too much like silver glow.
Sunrise songs parrot is frelling cool!
Rhapsody Ribbons ...the name and the pose score no points wiht me.

Oooooo! I'm LOVING the Sunrise Song, parrot pony and *choke* pearly pie... (man that's hard to spit out, even in type). I'd have liked aurora mist a lot better if she hadn't had that jewel embedded in her rear. I dislike all the others for the same reason... the ones with stuff stuck to them just bug me. I know it's silly but I always think of how awful it would be to have a giant heart shaped chunk of polyurethane protruding from one of my hips. I'd imagine it would be pretty cumbersome. Besides, it just looks stupid. Dangling ribbons and beads and such... bleh. *shakes Hasbro* STOPPIT! But, yes, more unicorns and pegs... only quit pearlizing the wings.

Sunrise Song: I flipped out when I saw this pony! Thank the pony gods! Finally, a unicorn that I will be buying. She is WONDERFUL.
