The 'based' part is what scares me a bit, specially after seeing 'based on' classic Transformer lines... As exciting news as this sounds to most, this is a wait and see event.

Omigosh. I hope they make them look like the G3's instead of exactly like the G1's. A G3 Snuzzle! Snuzz is my all time fav!

Dancing & singing Pinkie Pie is almost as scary as the pony costumes at MLP Live!

I emailed one of the people you can contact about the article and asked her if they are going to be in G3 molds or the original G1 molds. I'll let you guys know what she says.

I can't wait! This is exactly the sort of thing I've been waiting for. I do hope they're just like the G1 ponies but in G3 poses.
Good work, Hasbro!
Now to do a few more of this sort of thing... For instance, can we please have some old G1 characters released in different G1 poses (but with a slight difference - maybe the G3 hoof magnet?) And, most importantly, release those non-existant Tales ponies at last!
