Well, it looks like as of 18-FEB, eBay is going to be jacking up some of their fees. Most of them will be those concerning eBay Stores. But one big one that I'm sure will affect many eBayers here is the increase in Buy It Now fees.

And here is what the new rate structure for BIN is going to be:

$0.01-9.99 - $0.05
$10-24.99 - $0.10
$25-49.99 - $0.20
$50+ - $0.25

In light of this increase, when the new rates go into effect, I will no longer ever have a BIN price on any of my auctions.

And you know, it is going to be rather interesting at the end of the year to go through my records and calculate how much $$ eBay lost from me because I refuse to pay their outrageous fees for BIN. Over the past couple years, the majority of my listings had a Buy It Now, and at 5 cents a pop, eBay made quite a killing on them. Also, they will lose out on more, because there is a good chance that many auctions that would have sold for the BIN price would end up with a lower final sale price, which would reduce the size of the end of auction fees, as well as PayPal fees that eBay soaks us sellers for.
