I was wondering if I could get some opinions on a trade. I have a baby Pineapple in fair condition. She has had her hair trimmed and her symbols are not perfect. I am trying to work out a trade for the Sea Wee Frosty and Shimmer Skylite both in nice condition (slightly dry hair and just a few scuffs). I really don't know prices on them so if someone could offer an idea of if the trade is fair or how much I am off on the value that would be great. I can just add some money to my side of the trade to equal the 2 dolls but I just don't know how much!

Pictures of baby Pineapple are here:

Thanks!

I have sold See Wee's and Shimmers for about $40 each in the past. The market for them was down as of two months ago, but I think they would sell for about $60 combined on e-bay. You should probably add another $20 to the deal=) Hope that helps!

I bought all my entire set of shimmers ( I am missing one peice) off ebay and the most I ever paid was maybe 15$ for one of the harder to find pieces. the more common run around 5$- 10 each peice. if you find the mommy and babies together they sell for a little more but 40$ seems very high, the yellow centaur sells for the most in my experience, I paid more for the baby than any of my others. Sea wee are about the same but some are harder to find and will sell for 40$ for a set with acces. easily.

so really I think it sounds like a fair trade, I would be happy either way. Wink

I have sold three individual See Wee's (without babies) for $35, $40 and $42, and the pink deer Shimmer for $43. I keep a database of my sales so I know what's worth picking up in the future if I find it again. But, like I said, this was a couple of years ago and I know prices fluctuate.

An accurate value of the Sea Wee can be taken from the eBay auction that closed yesterday for a single Frosty (Item number: 270187408565) which ended at $10.50. I recently sold 2 Sea Wees in very good condition for a total of $20 which included shipping. Smile

I bought three sets of shimmers (mommys + babies, a centaur, a deer and a bird), complete and in perfect condition (except one scuff) - clearly labeled and identified for $35.

that being said, i am looking for deerlene. i have her baby!
