My husband said to get "that pet shop thing you want" on ebay and he will 'give it to me for my birthday' (and he didnt want me to just tell tell him, cause "i'd get the wrong thing")

I'm looking at the Pets around the world.....but I really only want certian pets (Zebra, Cheetah, Penguin, Huskey...and maybe the panda)

Do you think its better to buy the whole thing and sell/trade the pets i don't want?? Do you think they would trade well?
or should i just buy the single pets i want??
Cause I'm finding a lot of them sold both ways on ebay.....

I would say that if you are only wanting certain pets to just buy them individually because it always seems to me that they become harder to sell when you break up the sets.

I think you could sell the ones you don't want but it might take longer since the ones that you do want seem to be the most popular ones.
It might be better to just go after the ones you do want and maybe even cheaper.

i think it may be cheaper to buy the set for like $30 (if thats the price on ebay now) than individually because the ones you want are the most sought after ones so you could be paying more than $10 each for them, depending on who else is after them. it doesn't hurt to try and sell the other pets individually.

I would say get the whole set, casue like WhispersOfTheWind said the ones you want are the more pricey ones so it is going to run you the same. Maybe you can do some trading with the others.

I really am torn...one day Im just gonna buy individuals and the next hour it seems i want the whole set.....*sigh*
I figure maybe if i buy the set there will be some that I like better when i see them IRL.....but I also think about the tin that I bought for the ferret, and still have a handful of pets left...although i just traded a few more to barb....*still conflicted*

I think the whole set too. Then you will have all the pets no matter if you want them all or not. If you don't get the whole set you might regret it. After you do get it and find you just really don't want the other pets you can have them on hand for swaps/trades/sells. These guys seem to be growing in popularity so somebody some day might want the less popular ones.

Unfortunately, after shipping, it might be more to get them individually.

But, reselling them is a pain. There was a rush for them and now the demand is low. Might be better to resell the ones that you don't want as a lot. You'd get about $1-2 each pet.

I could sell you a few of mine. I don't need/want all the animals in my set.. Or even the box. I am keeping the leopard/cheetah, the parrot, the cat, and the husky. I don't even need their accessories(well all but the sheep's clothing). Let me know if you'd want this and how much you'd want to spend. I spent 38$ for the whole set on eBay (it was the cheapest I could find with shipping), because it seemed cheaper than getting the individual pets I wanted. That and there is a ton that I don't want that I think I'm gonna sell. xD

I would just buy the set if I were you! When you want to sell the others post them! If anything you have them for trading in swaps and the likes!

I'd say buy the whole set. I think you'll save money that way. And you cn get some of that cash back by selling the ones you don't want. ^_~
