Hey all,
I picked up this girl at VV because she is just so darling
On her back and head it says

Copyright KTC
1976
Taiwan
She's about 10" tall (I'd have to find a ruler to be exact, haha)

All I could find out about her is that KTC stands for Knickerbocker Toy & Co. I found other KTC dolls that look similar to her, and one that looks exactly the same (but brunette) on ebay. That auction only had the same info that I do already.

I would love to know what series she is from etc. I would also like to know if it's okay to 'customize' her. I know she's my doll and I can do what I want with her, but I don't want to 'ruin' her.

She could be a Holly Hobbie doll of some sort. I think they were made by knickerbocker.

Edit - Check out Sunbonnet Babies. I think she's from that set.

Edit again - Now I'm not sure, but I'm still looking. If all else fails, I'm visiting my parents this weekend, and my mom has two books on dolls from the 60s and 70s.

She does look veeeery similar to a Sunbonnet baby, so maybe we're getting warm, haha.

if you'd like to see. She's wearing a dress the seller calls "reminiscent of a holly hobbie dress"
