Hey there!

I had a question for you guys. I make miniature foods out of fimo (polymer) clay and am thinking about starting to sell/trade them. I was curious what scale of miniatures do Pullips and other dolls use? I'm currently making my minis at 1 inch scale (1/12 scale). Is this about the right scale?

I think that would be a little large? I'm not sure. My Pullips can easily use Pony accessories.

It does seem a little large, I think.. but it may depend on what kinda food..? Happy Like, if it were a pizza, it would work.. lol

I'd be interested in purchasing something form you, though. I think that miniature stuff is too cute.. I just bought this chicken noodle soup/sandwich/placemats from eBay... The listing says 1:6 scale..?

Actually, 1:12 scale is too small for Pullips and Blythes, they are 1:6 scale.

Thanks guys! Yeah I'm confused a bit about the scale. So 1:6 scale is larger than 1:12 scale? Are mlp accessories about the same scale, too? I could probably just use them as a reference for size.

SunnyBreeze - I'll get in touch with you when I've got more miniatures available to sell/trade. It will be very soon Happy The chicken noodle soup with the sandwiches is so adorable! It's hard to see that it's 1:6 scale because it's not being compared to a ruler or something else to see what size they are. Then again, I guess I'm bad about eyeballing that kind of stuff. Those are so cute though!

Here's the scale I use for my collections:

American Girl dolls: 1:3, or if the item is scaled for all people and not kids, 1:3.333 Wink Example: The AG horses aren't the size they would really be compared to the doll's implied age, so the horses look more like ponies. Wink

Barbies/Bratz/Pullips: 1:6, like most others have commented.

1:12 is honestly too small for most toys to be able to "use", unless the figures are also in 1:12 scale.

Is re-ment 1:12 or 1:6? Either way, it works well with Blythes.
