Me, I'm a sucker for fantasy hair colors like purple and green.

I tend to avoid normal hair tones; I can't say I like deep red either.

What hair color catches your eye when you're browsing doll shops?

LOL I like deep reds, I've been contemplating the Anne pullip but might pass on her just because I already have LRRH who has darker red hair.

I think its kind of a combination thing for me, I never look just at the hair, I like to look mainly at the theme. Anything lolita just drives me nuts and I want it, but at the going prices for the popular girls I'm a little limited on buying everyone

Also the fantasy colors are wonderful if the theme is good too for my taste. Like the space pullips, I didn't have the "omg grabby hand" reaction to them but they do have pretty hair. Paja w/ her 'plain' light blonde hair I snatched on immediately because I loved her 'little girl' inspiration

I go mostly for theme as well... the cosmic pullips made me squeee; I adore the pirate prototypes; and Lan is too cute. (Fantasy/folklore is my obsession)

But hair is one of the major things that leaps out at me. It's odd how a doll with the same face can look so different just through hair style/color.

the darker colors are kinda boring, and black just doesn't appeal. I like happy colors! haaappppy!

You know what I want to see? I want to see a tri-color haired pullip, like that fashion fever barbie w/ the neopolitan hair *pink, blonde, dark brown* That would be SO HOT!!!!

do people customize pullips? I mean, the price of failure would be pretty steep, so I can't imagine doing it, but maybe there are brave souls out there...

Anyway, I prefer fantasy colors because natural is boring. I avoid brown like the plague. Pure black, I like, because it's so rare naturally that it's almost a fantasy color. And it looks good with EVERYTHING. I missed a green wig auction on ebay, it was the last color I needed for my pullip rainbow... *sigh*

I don't mind the colour, but I'm being drawn to the long haired girls.
I'm straying away from more out there hair colours like Street though!

Actually I customized the first one I got It was incredibly risky since I had never done a full face up on a doll in my life, but it was worth it. When I get a chance I'll add on the "show your doll" thread, the one I had customized will be named Sally

I love to see dolls with white hair! I also love various shades of purple, and black can be stunning.

I'm not very picky, LOL! As long as the doll matches her hair color, then it's fine by me.
