After much deliberation and polling and fundraising, we, the Ohio Pony Meet Hostesses, have chosen a date and venue for our Meet this year.

DATE: August 1st, 2009
LOCATION: Reily, Ohio (near Cincy)

We have many fun things and special surprises planned for everyone this year, please do your best to attend. ^_^

We charge NO admittance fee... the only thing we request our participants to contribute is a little bit of food.

Yes we are expecting a great turnout this year!

Our venue is larger than we have had in the past and also we are closer to Indiana so hopefully we can have other collectors be able to attend this year.

I might be able to make it this year since I'm moving back to Indiana. I love getting together with Midwest collectors. I've missed you all!

That would be great I still need to purchase your new book!

I may or may not be there. I just realized that weekend is the only weekend between a big trip to California and Wizard World in Chicago....and the weekend of my mom's birthday so we may have family stuff going on. But I've got the calendar marked, and hopefully it stays clear and I won't be too wiped out from the other trips

*pout* I can't come =( I agreed to help my sister teach how to make chain maille at the Dublin Irish Festival, which is going on the same weekend.

Ah well, maybe next year!

My first pony meet... How far would that be from Buffalo N.Y.? I am very interested...

That's quite a trip! It's near the border of Ohio and Indiana. Not that we wouldn't want you there, but you might want to see if there's one closer.

Like LadySatine said we our in the south western corner of Ohio. Lets see maybe 8-10 hours. I have a friend in Rochester and it takes her about 10 hours so how far is that from you?

We would love to have you! Maybe you could look into carpooling? That could help with gas and keep you company! Keep us updated. You will want to check out our board and post about carpooling info!!!
