i'm dying to attend , do u know if there is child care available? p.s. i am in knoxville going north can possibly help someone with a ride.

Well we rented a hall to use but there will be no one there but us, so no there will not be child care. Kids are welcome to attend though.

I brought my kids to the WI meet, they had a blast! They're not coming with to this one though, too far to drive for them.

I guess it depends on what age we're talking about too. I would never attempt to bring my toddler. I would just chase him around all day and not get to do anything. A little older though we have some activites for, coloring and such, so they would be entertained.

I know a lot of meets focus on trading/selling/buying... Would it be best if I brought SOMETHING to potentially sell, or do you think if I just participated in the buying aspect, I'd be ok?

Man...not sure if I'm going or not now... The opportunity to finally wash some ponies is weighing great on my mind along with feeling bad for letting my grandma go alone.... so if I can't catch a ride from Louisville and back...then I won't be there...

That is if I can make up my mind to go with my grandma or stay home and hope my sister could take me...

STLGusty there will be lots of activities at this meet so even if you do not bring stuff to sell there will still be stuff to do. Lots of people like to bring stuff so that they can trade with each other but you certainly do not have to.

Wildshadow it will be a great meet so I hope you can make it! Just let us know, I'm still hoping you find a ride!

I'll see if I can scrounge up a few to sell, but I might just go and see if anyone's just willing to sell Muhaha

I just asked my husband... "Want to go to Cincinnati on August 1st?" His response was, "I don't care." And then he followed up with "Why?" And my response was..."Pony Meet. I'll be sure to tell everyone you're so excited."

His response... "Oh joy."



So unless something falls through with work (whcih it has a tendancy to do since I'll be just starting my new job), I should hopefully be able to make it!

I guess I'll have to face it.... nothing wants me to go to a pony meet this year -.-

Something got me to decide to go with my grandma to KY...and it seems no one is around there to let me ride with.

Well, I'm planning on it, so unless something goes horribly awry, I'll be there!

I'll have my daughter, 7, and the baby, but my husband and son may decide to go elsewhere. Although, if we have our own place, I may bring the DVD player and they can watch movies or something...

We're still in the planning stages, but hopefully it will work out for us!

We will have a 'play' table just for our younger attendees... with pony playsets to play with, as well as a Coloring Contest just for the kids. We won't have access to a television, though.
