Does anyone know if they are regular size ponies, or ponyville? Its hard to tell from the pictures - the packasging doesn't say ponyville, but they look like they might be quite small?

Is it weird that these new My Little Ponies kinda freak me out??? Maybe not as much as G2 ponies... but still... they look like Bratz Ponyz.

I don't think there's any need to worry about this LPS thing; historically there have been brief deviations and like this super deformed they've yielded some fantastic ponies. Change is good, but there's only so much they can do before they've exhausted the Core 7.

Judging by the look of these coming soon pics, the mermaids are lovely and will prolly get their own kingdom. I'll get one of the Core 7 when they do, but I won't have 4 merponies of Rainbow Dash just cuz it's Rainbow Dash. I do feel obligated to express my appreciation for merponies, cuz I expect to see some pretty fantastic "normal" My Little Ponies!

We could start a facebook for the return of normal ponies and additional inhabitants and back that up by not giving them as much money. I recently "became a Fan" of a pickle to see if the pickle can get more fans than the band, "Nickleback." Apparently this is how to create a petition these days, LOL. Would I be correct in thinking this "enough already" opinion is the general consensus?

To get down to the brass tacks I think it's time we get back to Unicornia, don't you?! OMG that castle is to die for and if the merponies can evolve why NOT the unicorns? I fully expect to see a pegasus with a horn. As a Sailor Moon fan I'm giddy with the prospect of a custom Helios, eeep =D I suggest we don't pull the plug on core 7's style til we get glow-in-the-dark ones and Unicornucopia (Hasbro! you are welcome to the name=)

Do you luvlees have an area to discuss future ponies? Like, what ideas do you have for the line? A focal point of intended creation?

I don't want to put etwas in the wrong area, but I DO NOT know my way around a computer.

OMG I joined that pickle FB group too! Have they beaten Nickleback yet? I suuuuuure hope so!

I don't know what they should do with the future line- it seems like everything is moving towards technology and more mass media like gaming and movies which they have always picked up on both. But, toys still do sell. I think with these big headed ones they are again trying to go with the more "modern" Bratz look, I mean, has anyone checked out some of the Barbies lately? Same thing!

I sure hope they make some more regular ponies too, even though they are focusing on these new ponies. Check out the hasbro website if you haven't. You can find out "which Pony you are most like."

Eeee, merponies! Those I will buy. And the Mommy/Baby sets give me hope too. Apparently they're figuring out that just the Core 7 isn't getting them anywhere (finally!). Maybe the merponies will bring some new characters along?

I found this lovely today at Walmart. I have no idea if she is new, per se, but this is the first time I have spotted them. I only bought Rainbow Dash, as I liked her better than any of the other ones. To me she is the most perky and colorful.

I actually saw those for the first time today too.. I believe they're the same pony figures that were released recently with the dvd (placed in front of the pony in the box..), except these new ones don't come with the dvd.

I just got back from Target. They had just set up their Easter stuff, so I went to grab some stuff for my son's basket before it was picked over. They had the Pinkie Pie with the bunny ears, and even though I already have 2 G3.5 Pinkie Pies, the bunny ears were so sweet I had to grab her. The strange thing, though, is next to the Easter Pinkie Pie, there was an empty space with a tag that said "My Little Pony Spring $5.99". At first, I just thought it was extra space for more PPs, but the tag for the Easter Pinkie Pie said "My Little Pony Easter $5.99". I'm wondering if it's the spot for the Celebrate Spring Ponyville set, or something else entirely.
