You save it to your computer. Then you upload it to an image hosting site like Photobucket. (It's easy to get a free account.)

Then you put something like this in your signature:

That one was made by Wrenniepooh. You can find them in the adoptables forum. You may have to wait until she's open to requests though. She had quite a backlog.
