I have a ton of CB Twinkle eyes but I doubt if you'd want those!

Yay for Twinkle Eyes!!!
I have two Whizzer's, one that's dark pink and one that's pale pink as well--I think the pale pink one is just faded, though, which could be the case with the ones you saw.
The year five set is harder to find (the one with Mimic) and is usually much more costly. That's Tic Tac Toe, Quackers, Locket, Mimic and Brighteyes. :| (I got my Brighteyes for ten, but my cousin's was thirty. And Mimic is of course ridiculous...)
I have not personally seen *any* variations of TE's...but that question should definatley be addressed by someone more experienced in variants than I!
I really am not picky about the shiny left on their eyes, but apparently it scratches fairly easily...mine almost all have marks...
They tend to look possesed by demons with flash photography. >:} www.mlparena.com/index..._photo.php
Best of luck collecting them! I have no idea if any of that helped. >_>

Hi there sailorlibra,
I don't know about Whizzer's with different shading. I know there is a Fizzy that is a Euro version and her coloring is a bit different than the US realeased one. I'll try to add a pic for you later.
The set you mentioned sure has some stunners! They're really popular too.
Here's a couple pics that I had handy. Bright Eyes is my favorite TE! Here she is! I went through about 5 of these to get a minty one:
Here's Mimic. I believe I sold this one though. I need to get a pic of the one in my collection. Here's Mimic:
Marbletoast! I love your post.
As for variant TE's there are some. I recently saw an Argentina one. I think if you posted this question in the Nirvana forum, you would get some pics!

I love Bright Eyes- she is my favorite TE and really, the only way I got into TEs at all (I'm hooked now though)
welcome to the world of G1s, I'm happy to say I was there when your descent into that end of ponyland began lol, at least I think that was the start? I was at least there to compare the Whizzers

Speedy also has two versions! A pale Apricot and the normal orange.

I just decided to start concentrating my efforts on TEs and TAFs (after I get Earth Ponies Posey and Bubbles, of course...). I think this is probably a dangerous move on my part, since they're pretty popular and both have a couple in their set that are pretty hard to get a hold of, but at least once I get them all I don't have to try and get them again?
