I'm just now starting to collect certain ones of the G1's, but I collect all of the G3's btw. I was wondering, are there any differences between the Twinkle Eyes? How do you rank their level of mintiness based on the irridescence left on their eyes? Are there different versions of certain ones?

I'm especailly curious about Whizzer. I got her, but I also saw her in a darker hot pink coloring as well.

and I am also searching for some TE's to trade or buy.

I have a ton of CB Twinkle eyes but I doubt if you'd want those!

I have two Whizzer's, one that's dark pink and one that's pale pink as well--I think the pale pink one is just faded, though, which could be the case with the ones you saw.

The year five set is harder to find (the one with Mimic) and is usually much more costly. That's Tic Tac Toe, Quackers, Locket, Mimic and Brighteyes. :| (I got my Brighteyes for ten, but my cousin's was thirty. And Mimic is of course ridiculous...)

I have not personally seen *any* variations of TE's...but that question should definatley be addressed by someone more experienced in variants than I!

I really am not picky about the shiny left on their eyes, but apparently it scratches fairly easily...mine almost all have marks...

TE varients do exist.

They made a few Spanish ones (Fizzy, two versions of Masquerade, Whizzer, Sweet Stuff, Gingerbread and Galaxy).

anyone else have any pics of these variations, or should I try to get those in the Nirvana to answer?

I don't know about Whizzer's with different shading. I know there is a Fizzy that is a Euro version and her coloring is a bit different than the US realeased one. I'll try to add a pic for you later.

The set you mentioned sure has some stunners! They're really popular too.

I just decided to start concentrating my efforts on TEs and TAFs (after I get Earth Ponies Posey and Bubbles, of course...). I think this is probably a dangerous move on my part, since they're pretty popular and both have a couple in their set that are pretty hard to get a hold of, but at least once I get them all I don't have to try and get them again?
