She turned out bad, I think. She has really visible brush strokes, her hair didn't fade like it was supposed to, her symbols look NOTHING like tear drops, and her eyes are screwed up. *sigh* I tried, though. The bottom of the second scan didn't save, for some reason.
I crossposted this to a few places. Sorry if you have to see this more than once.

Bell's Palsy is one-sided facial paralysis that's caused by a damaged facial nerve. When someone has it, they can't close their eye on that side, that side of their smile doesn't go up, and their hearing and taste are usually impaired. It usually goes away within a few months, but I was born with it, and I have permanent damage, so it will never go away.
Her colors are black and white (opposites) because of the conflicting feelings that people with BP have. Her symbols, tear drops, are grey, a combination of black and white, to represent the pain, physical and emotional, that people with this disability go through.

My mom had it, too. She has minor permanant damage. Like, the right side of her face droops.
*hugs Globabie*
I'm sorry you had it.

Interesting that though it hasn't faded completely, the contrast with the other colors makes the hair almost silvery. I'd say that's a very meaningful pony you have there, thank you for showing her to us. I didn't want to ask what Bell's Palsy was in case I sounded insensitive or something. But thanks for telling us! I'd say she's very pretty. Ponies weren't meant to be scanned, I think, but I love the photos that catch both sides of her. Pony in action!

Thanks, ssjessiechan. I agree... when I scanned her, it kinda warped her a bit. Strange. And the scans were (obviously) up close, so it makes her flaws more noticeable, while when I'm just looking at her and not holding her, she looks really pretty. I like her white side best =)

Wow she looks so awesome in those pictures - the scans don't do her any justice. She definitely looks awesome when she's not pressed againt glass
The front view is gorgeous - I wouldn't of thought a pony would look good split into two colors but it is spunky and is wonderfully symbolic.
