I found these today at a Utah Dollar Tree and bought some for my customes.

The package says \"Just Pretending 24in. Long Hair Extensions\". Comes in many fun colors like neon pink, deep blue, and sour green apple. I bought the blonde and pale purple. Comes attatched to a head band with matching braid. I tested the strength of the hair and it seemed fine. But the point of interest is it has some of that lovely gold tinsel that is laying flat with the rest of the hair.
I will be playing with it the purple tonight a see how the well it handles the abuse of being rehaired. I have a girl that has been sitting around waiting to be finished.

(I think she is excited.)

Oooh, I wanna know how it turns out! I'd love to find hair for a dollar that could be given to a pony.

I got a warning about this hair not being very cooperative on the Trading Post. So yes I will let people know how things work out.

based on the experiences people have been saying about this stuff I am going to steam it when I finish rehairing my pony. I have some rollers designed to curl and moisterize hair with steam that I will use. I doesnt get too hot and does a good job with my thick and heavy hair.

I've used this before, with just fine results. Actually, the green in my Toxic Baby pony is this hair and it was just as easy to work with as my regular hair. Though, granted, I haven't tried styling it any yet, in to curls or anything like that.

Yep, that hair (and similar) has been around for some time. It does seem to be very temperamental although mayanbutterfly uses it with good results.
I have used it and there is a difference in texture and the ability to lay down nicely.

I have tons of this hair as well. It curls just fine, you just have to be careful with the temperature (as with all hair)
