I really want Great Hair Ringlets and Highlights. I've noticed Highlights is the rarer of the two. Last week I saw one go on e-bay for over $50. Is this a good price for her? What about Ringlets?

Wow!! I've never seen Ringlets go that high!

I don't know if that's normal, but I'll defer to wiser ponies.

I paid 16,50 euro for Ringlets. Got a bit of luck on Highlights, she was only 7,50 euro. $50,00 sounds a bit much, but it depends on what you want to spend and what the seller wants to get.
I'm sure there are pony's here that know what the average is these girls should go for.

I have been watching Highlights for several months and she's been going high for a while. This is what I've seen her go for and the dates I've recorded her auction price:

Highlights: $63.42(1/14) $40.43(2/23) $54.55(8/20) $48.44(9/1)


As for Ringlets, I've watched her 12 months, and her auction prices haven't gone nearly as high. This is what I've averaged her at: AVERAGE (HIGH/LOW)

Thanks! I think the Ringlets in that set (same seller put both up in separate auctions) went somewhat high as well (>$30?) so someone must have really wanted them. They were in really nice condition.

I guess I will just have to wait until I have a nice chunk of money to dedicate towards Highlights if I want her.

they can be a little scattered in price from what i have seen...the best bet to get them for a good price is to watch out on ebay.co.uk as they tend to show up there more often of course!

Highlights has been very HTF lately - it took me about a year to a year and a half to get her. (Finally landed an "unlisted" one for $50 plus Ringlets)

Ringlets is - I think - normally around $25-ish depending on demand. I do think people want her more than Highlights, and she tends to come up more often.

Isn't Highlights the orange haired one? Why is she more expensive, she's much uglier than Ringlets..?
I was lucky to find them both (on different occasions) from a flea market. I can still remember when I was drooling over them in a toy aisle back in the early 90's.

i think its simply that highlights is more hard to find which is true you certainly see the pink pony on line more than the orange one...guess its because when they were in stores the pink ponies were purchased more

I've seen a few auctions of her ending quite high, maybe she is the next big pony?
