There was a bit of interest in an earlier thread about my Bratz collection so I thought I'd start a general one for everyone to showcase/talk about Bratz. Hopefully this thread won't bomb or I won't end up talking to myself so please feel free to keep me company.

I am excited today because my brother picked up a teen Brat at a thrift shop for 20c. I don't collect the teen Bratz but this one had ear-rings so I have stolen them to put on one of my girls. Bratz jewellery owns my soul!

I'm glad you started it! I was just at TRU recently and they had Bratz dolls for buy 2 get 1 free. Not sure how long the sale lasts for though.

^ That sounds like a really good deal, SparklerGirl. Now, if only my country would have a sale like that. I am still wanting the Vampire boy from the Masquerade set but as far as I can tell he has not hit the shelves here yet.

Ahh! That's cool. I saw the commercial for the Vampire boy and thought that would be a cool addition to my kids dolls.

^ He looks so cool doesn't he? I am still hanging out in the local toy stores waiting for him so I don't miss out

I've seen the vampire boy and the knight boy. I'm still looking for the pirate boy. He's the one I want!

I only have one Bratz doll so far. She is the tea party masquerade one. Right now she is hanging out with my Monster High Draculaura but she needs a pirate boyfriend lol.

Kiwi, I love the outfits on that last set of three girls that you posted. Did they come with the dolls or did you customize?

^ I did not know there was a Knight or a priate boy! Hmm, now I might need to add them to my want list too! I really hope they release them in NZ soon. I remember seeing you masquerade doll in my last thread (I was so excited that you caved in and bought her!). We have the girl masquerade dolls on our shelves but I haven't bought one yet because I am waiting for them to go on special

To answer your question about the three dolls in the bottom pic, no I did not dress them myself (that is the auction pic, I am still waiting for them to arrive, lol). The seller described them as 'midnight dolls', whatever that means. I have come to the Bratz party late so I am still learning about the sets that were released

Now I'm off to google the Bratz Pirate and Knight dolls! Thanks for the heads up

ETA: I think I found the knight on ebay (the auction won't let me steal the photo though!). I wish they had designed him with armor because I definitely would have bought him. I can't find a pic of a pirate boy anywhere - although I did stumble across a rock star boy that I would like eventually too.

Congrats, kiwi! I'm curious, how do you feel about the Monster High dolls?

I like the angel Masquerade doll as well. I was originally going to get the vampire boy, but I didn't like his hair in person. The knight boy is cute but he's wearing jeans! That's not much of a costume lol. Oh well, maybe I will stop by TRU this weekend and take another look.

Good point. These girls are probably a bit younger again - maybe 12-13 and are smaller than the regular Bratz, but definitely not the 'stumpy' babies. I will try to find some pics for you later (once I've had my afternoon nap!).

Hi Tuney! Wow, it's amazing who you see in here. I don't mind the MH dolls but I prefer the Bratz because I think they are more 'pretty' looking (as opposed to funky/trendy of the MH dolls). My favouite Bratz all have beautiful dresses or sparkly tops and I LOVE hanging them with jewellery

SparklerGirl, thank you so much for the link! How on earth I could have searched and missed that site is beyone me (especially because I now remember seeing it before too, lol). I know what you mean about the hair/clothes looking different in person. Hopefully I won't be disappointed when/if they finally arrive in my country! Let me know if you decide to splash out and buy the Angel masquerade doll

ETA: Wardah, here is a pic of the teenage bratz:


They are about a head shorter than normal Bratz and their bodies are not quite as developed looking.

kiwi: I understand what you mean about the MH dolls. I'm not a doll person AT ALL, but somehow I love the idea of monsters + doll!
