Enraged Enraged Enraged Enraged Enraged Enraged

I can't figure out why I can't get transparent adoptables to view properly! They always have a black background. I thought it was just my home PC, but right now I'm using a Mac at work and am still having the same problem. Everyone else seems to be able to handle them. Does anyone have any idea what is going on? Google-ing doesn't help me either (or maybe I'm just Google-ing the wrong terms.)

I believe image transparencies come in two varieties, GIF and PNG. If you save it as any other image style (like JPG), it will lose its transparency and it usually turns black. That's my theory anyway.

Do you think Flickr changes it from being a png? Cause I haven't done any file changing myself...

It's entirely possible. I have no experience with Flickr but I've heard of such things happening with some image hosting sites. Photobucket, while it can be a pain now and then, is pretty good at keeping the transparency.

yes! You cannot have a transparent gif on flickr. I have most of my pony stuff on flickr but anything transparent on photobucket.
