Ok, sorry, I didn't check the pony in ebay sale... In Taffetas page if I compare the first loose Gusty with the MOC -picture does the symbols of loose-one looks more reddish purple than the other has, so I was thinking we had a question of that "normal blue leaf Gusty"... SORRY!!

Those Ebay-Gusty's symbols looks like almost light blue and looks quote nice in that color, but yes, looks like faded... Smile

It's true, we assume that it should be uneven, but it can be even on both sides. It's all dependant on condition. I think it has even been observed in the past (not on Gusty's but others). Red/pink fades the easiest, leaving things like white heart Peachy, white bowtie Bowtie, blue symbol Scoops, and yes, I believe blue-symbol Gusty. Until one is found MOC (on both sides), I'll remain an unbeliever, pretty though she is.

Did I mention above the Barnacle I found? He was faded beyond all belief... I think it must have been more than sun!

I have like 4 "normal" HK Peachys that each have different color symbols, some even clearly too violet to be pink... so I think that it could be possible there has been some kind of a mixup in the factory and the color for the symbols hasn´t come out just right.

Offcourse colours fade differently...
Unless someone is able to take a baity, but good symboled Gusty, take pics compared to a good NSS one, and then fade her symbols in bright light and take another comparison pics afterwards we´ll propably never know what the case is.

Baby Crumpet is a good example of a symbol "fading" to blue from purple. For a long time it was believed that the blue symbol version was a varient, but then it was discovered (I think by spottedslug?) that the purple sometimes fades to blue.
