EDIT: For anyone who has not been to Orlando, it is definitely an all-around great experience! There is so much to do, especially if you have family or friends traveling with you who may have other interests besides ponies

I had to give my daughter the bad news that we won't be going to the Atlantis Resort this year. Then I gave her the good news that we are going to Orlando instead. She's pretty stoked now.

Ok, did some recalculating and driving actually is cheaper than flying. It would cost us almost $650 for two people to fly then renting the car is another $250ish...we weren't going to rent one when we flew in this year for a Breyer horse collector event but I seriously recommend it. We were only a mile from Universal but it's a good mile trek just to the main parking lot and you wouldn't even wanna walk to the attractions after that lol.

But driving is only about 18 hours and gas will be around $400 + I can haul 3 tables worth of stuff to sell instead of 4 suitcases:D I might even raffle off my personal Giant Frilly plush (the original from the mail order program) if we can drive. I am not a fan of driving but my hubby didn't say no instantly and my sister in law just squeeled when I told her the location so we might actually be able to swing this. Now i'm excited I'll be making my window clings again, pony necklaces, and probably selling my international G1 collection and paradise estate so just a few things to look forward to It'll all come down to what fits in the van lol.

I don't have the kind of money for a plane at all. Even if I did, I can't be in hot places ): Oh well.

OMG this is awesome! I have extended family in Orlando, and they have been bugging me to visit and go to the Disney park forever (he works there so it would be free) Squeee its always been a little to far away or a little to expensive but this is absolutely perfect! I am so going this year!
