Does anyone remember this doll line?

I forget the complete subtitle, but it's something about space-age or spaced-out fun.

Mattel made this doll line; and, the dolls basically looked like Barbie and her friends only their bodies were of a shiny harder plastic.

Their hair and bodies (neck down) were brightly colored, with the hair having iridescent tinsel like strands to add to the hair's glitter.

Spectra was the leader, and she was pink. She had a white furred robot dog.
There was one male character - Tom Comet, I believe. He was blue/blue-grey.
There was a blonde female, a purple female (Ultra Violet was her name) and a blue female.

I have two of the dolls, mint condition, in box. Sepctra is one, and I think Ultra Violet is the other. I hope to get all the dolls.

Any comments? Any fellow collectors out there?

I had an Aurora doll too! I forget which one...

I still have a couple of these (I have Spectra and Ultra Violet left).

I also have a custom one I repainted. She's an evil Spectra! lol She has a bit of a gold sheen on her face and her make up is slightly inspired by a prototype of a Pizzazz Jem doll. (I even painted her finger nails to match the makeup lol).




Edited to add a real Spectra doll (her friend Ultra Violet) so people who don't know who Spectra is doesn't think they are all evil like my OOAK doll lol.

Yeah he meant my evil Spectra. (collectorshubby is my hubby, he just sign up here lol).

I don't actually think that he thinks that she's that scary, or maybe he doesn't want to tell me... lol. He doesn't seem to mind my repaint but he think's Blythe is super creepy/scary. He's weird.
