*Be careful if you fill more than a few ounces, if you go to use them after a few minutes they may bleed a lot. So I'd mark the ones you refilled and scribble on a scrap for a second before you put it to your artwork. Just till it absorbs more.

I see why you'd need this tutorial- you can't refill prismacolour.

Mind if I point out here- the pigment in prisma colour dries REALLY fast I have a few that were gifted to me and I don't use them cause of this. If you really like using markers, Copic markers are a MUCH better option. They're not too expensive in America. I got my set of copics from Icopic (Although I can't now) and the refills for them fill the pens up to 3 times depending on the type. You have the option of a wide and narrow nib (originals) or you can go for sketch markers and get the option of a broad and a brush nib. Their colour range is VERY broad and it's very cost efficient. I mention this not cause I think everyone should change, but you should be aware that there are refillable options out there. Tria use to do refills. I'm not sure if America has them but NZ don't stock Tria refills and they're expensive here. It may be an option there though.

This is a great tutorial if you want to rebuff a prisma marker though Smile I'f seen people do stuff like this before. IT's well worth it. It does thin out the pigment a little every time you do it though.Just wait 10 minutes for it to dry and go over it again if this is the case :nods:

I love prismacolour markers, still have some from my college days that work and I am 51 so you know how old that makes them. LOL Granted they sat unused for oh 30 years while they where misplaced but it says a lot about the product when you can uncap them all those years later and draw with them.

I shall have to try that for one or two that are getting weak though.

He did say to wait a day to use it though after filling, to get the best color out of them.

That's awesome, I didn't know that you could refill them Smile I've been meaning on getting my hands on some nice markers, so it's nice to know you can revive them after they start to die!

Haha! I figured you could do something like this. I only use the blenders so I think I could do this without even worrying about the pigment part.

I would third the copic love but here in middle of no where we don't have them ;_; and to ship them to Canada is ridiculous so I'm stuck with prismas, and I thought this would be a great thing to share for those fools like me

This makes sense Smile Nothing is cheaply available in NZ so I prefer to go for the best cause I'm paying too much anyway. Copics in NZ are $12 each unless I buy them from America where they're about $7 each. Prismas hee are not as expensive as copics but you can't refill them so i've been disregarding them. Tria use to be great but NZ doesn't stock refills for them now and they're more expensive than Copic. Copic has a REALLY simple method of colour identification though which I love Smile I didn't know what the prices were like in America, but I thought it was worth mentioning.
