So yeah, I'm new. I'm working on my first two customs right now. They were initially to "dip my toe in the water", so to speak, but since my husband has declared that the first experiment from all new craft creations is his to keep, I told him that since he's keeping it, he can design it. He came home with two ponies for me to mod. I hope to be able to post pictures of them in a couple of weeks.

And now for the fun stuff about me!

I'm 34, going on 12. I love body piercings, tattoos, and unnaturally bright hair. I live in Rhode Island, in my mother's basement, with my husband of nearly 10 years, and our two cats. I work during the day, and at night I can be found surfing the web or reading or doing whatever craft project I'm obsessing about that particular week.

I've only restarted my collecting. I'm lucky enough to get employee discount at Walmart, so the already pretty inexpensive g4s aren't bad to buy when I'm having a bad day and want retail therapy. I decided a couple of months ago that I wanted to recreate my childhood collection of g1s, and two Ebay auctions later I'm the proud owner of 33 g1 ponies, two playsets, and a bunch of clothes and accessories. The current collection (minus the playsets) can be seen here, in all its glory. Someday I'll actually get them properly displayed, but the random shelves will have to do for now.

There's also a couple of small rubber ducks in the pictures with the dalek - those toys are my husband's (as much as I love some Doctor Who and ducks, I don't need the toys for that, but to each his own!). The g1 collection is done, aside from a Gusty, so it's just g4's and customs from now on.
