Is anyone else had problems on delays from the US?

One eBay item shipped from US on 7th December arrived just before Christmas but a small packet from an arena member who was very kind and bought something on our behalf also shipped on 7th and its still not here, I know there have been lots of holidays and post is often delayed at this time of year but nearly a month now! Is this normal!?

Just to reiterate we are NOT worried about the integrity of the seller, she is a friend who is lovely, we're worried about the stupid postal system

its totally normal - try not to worry just yet Hopefully the post will start to move a bit faster again now xmas is over...

Ive had packages from the uk take up to a month to get to me just on normal shipping days so i would give it a little more time before you really start to worry.

I'd wait two months before really getting concerned, honestly. Christmas rush just eased up for the postal system.

I know the feeling, my husband got me a Christmas present he ordered from the UK and it still hasn't arrived I think it shipped around the same time, 7th-8th of December and we're getting worried since it normally doesn't take so long and I've gotten packages ordered from the US in the meantime that were sent at the same time or even later. He's mentioned it to the seller so we'll see, maybe your husband could do the same, just mention it hasn't arrived yet but you'll let them know when/if it does I always do that if I think shipping is taking longer than it should so the seller knows what's going on

I think the post is slow, I did a trade and we both posted stuff on the 13th December they got their half quite quickly but mine is still 'in limbo' so I think it's gotten stuck somewhere due to Christmas, New Years and a few bank holidays. I'm keeping my fingers crossed it shows up soon.
