Hehehe yes, that's right, she could as well be baby ribbon. She has the same symbols and pose as baby ribbon but the same colors as bow tie. I just called her bow tie because of the colors, I haven't found anything about her real spanish name. Maybe they should be called Ribbon as there is another version of at least the adult bow tie. (Less confusing to have one bow tie and one ribbon than two bow tie variants) Anyway, I think the adult (mummy) and baby should have the same name as they match:) I would love to see the original boxes/cards for the babies...it would give info on names as well.... maybe one day we'll know...

It is bowtie and this is why (remember I am a smartass):

Peru did not make any other pony than your silly Ribbon based off the so soft ponies. Why would they only make this one? This lone pony seperate from all her other SS pony friends.... Think about it? Does not make sense does it! In every country we see a pattern (whether good or bad) so why would Peru be any different? It wouldn't!

So you have no choice but to agree with me lol! Now if I were collecting Ribbons, I may collect the single ribbon bowtie because it is influenced by ribbon but I would definatly not consider it a Ribbon.

And Kcat, I have seen Butterscotch in collector pose from Peru on ebay once before. Smile Just adding to the list!

Wow, a Butterscotch?! That is so strange because the Peru pamphlet doesn't mention her! Gah!

SummerSkye, about the baby's head... that is so true! And you know what else? The peru baby pegasi (like Blossom) look like they have baby Cotton Candy heads. I always knew there was something a bit strange-looking about those babies!!

I love that baby, it's so cute! How rare is she on the Peru scale? I tend to see Baby Blossom a fair bit but I have never seen her before.

I have seen her on ebay a few times. I can't remember how much she went for but it wasn't a whole lot (not like those unicorn variations). I have only been actively searching for Perus on ebay for 6 mos or so. Good luck finding her!

I only saw it once and it was being sold by one of the two peru sellers on ebay. I thought it was strange as well though. It could have been mexican but I would think they would be able to tell since they sell ponies regularly.
