With the upcoming comic con in san diego CA and the new cc Super Pony soon to be out, what do you guys think this one will go for? Do you think it'll command prices of over $100 or do you think it'll hit that as high as $30 with shipping mark? Just curious how much everyone is willing to pay for one.

not sure really, i guess it depends, but being that it seems so popular it might very well go as high as 100. i should be getting a few from a friend who has a booth there (hopefully), im really hopeing to trade for the mlp fair pony Smile i think all the pre-sales might help keep the price down also.

Well I don't have enough money to pay $100 for any pony Sad I would probably be able to pay $30 absolute max!

I'm going to keep waiting until the price goes down, hopefully after the initial rush of everyone bidding, she'll be a bit cheaper. Or if I'm lucky, so many people will have bought these up for resale the market will be flooded and the price won't go so high...

It's such a cool pony!! Smile I love just admiring the pictures. It's just a guess, but I am anticipating high prices for it...I'm not really sure how much, but I wouldn't be surprised if it climbed over $100. I guess only time will tell. Smile

It really depends on how many make it to the pony collectors, if there are a lot of them like the white and black pony project then I can't see it going over the $50 mark, if they seems to be really limited then I can see them going close to $100.

I really hope it doesn't hit the $100 mark, I would likely pay $30, I've been tempted to do a buy it now on one from the ebay pre-sellers....

Hehe, I get to go this year, so I'm hoping they still have some left at the booth! Happy *is excited*

That said, I don't know if she'll go much higher than the other Pony Project ponies did; I just got the white one for $20 + shipping, which isn't too bad considering that the original price was about $10. I think since SO many people go to the con, there will be a lot of them on the market... unless the resellers ruin it for everyone else. >_<

I bought one 2 weeks ago off Ebay ~ with shipping (to Canada) it came to $28. Now I just have to sit here and wait for Comic-con to actually happen...... Poke Tounge

(the seller had very high and positive feedback, so I'm hoping that my "jumping the gun" on this pony pans out in a good way!)

I agree the market will flood during the week after the event and most likely they will go for $20-$30 (aside for the first couple which will go sky high) then I predict about two weeks later they will go for a bit more since people get worried that there won't be a large enough supply on the second hand market and then it will level back out to $20-$30.

It happens with event exclusives in other toy line all the time and usually they follow a similar pattern.

I'm hoping I can pay not much more than ticket price but I will get her off ebay if necessary. I paid about $300 or so for one of my grail ponies.

I caved and bought a pre-sale one from eBay. She's too cute and I'm a comic book geek.

Yep, this is what I think too, since that's what happened with the last ComicCon exclusive pony. In the days following the Con, she could be had for $14.95 plus shipping.
