#1: Shipping from Canada? Author: Kisscurl, Location: Perth, AustraliaPosted: 0 ---- Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone can help me, this is the first time i have ponies shipped from canada so i'm not used to the length of their shipping. ok I have a pony comming from regina SK i think it is and that was sent the 17/9/07 and its still not here, and i had one come from Nova scotia sent on the 1/10/07 and it got here in 2 weeks, should i be worried about the first one??? and also on a separate matter is surface shipping slow from canada as well???

Shipping air usually takes 1-3 weeks, buts its been know to take longer (1 package I sent took 3 months!) Shipping ground usually takes twice as long, but ive had packages sent ground make it in a week. It could get stopped and inspected too.
Maybe the package was shifted to ground from air by mistake? If its been past 30 days (I believe), the shipper can go back to the PO and request to fill out a lost package form. You should have automatic insurance up to $100 included if it went small packet.

#4: Re: Shipping from Canada? Author: SilverCygnet, Location: Cygnet Hollow FarmPosted: 0 ---- I've completely given up hope on a package from Canada, only to have it show up about 3-4 months after it was sent....
all the same, I think I'd have the shipper file the paperwork anyway

Generally, canada post takes a long time to ship surface overseas, but shipping surface to the USA doesn't usually take months. Around christmas time, maybe, because 'surface' is a lower priority. But not usually.

No there are 3 packages all from canada, one that has arrived in two weeks posted 1/10/07, then once posted 17/9/07 not yet arrived then a parcel by surface due 16/11/07 which will be the 3rd month also not yet arrived, i think i'll contact the buyer on the one taking a month as its been a bit long i think.
