I like the rooted tail idea. Although, cleaning or rerooting would take alot longer with these. BethyVic

Lol, goodluck, I live in Cape-Town and have been to the Prima factory shop and haven't found a thing. I doubt you will find anything in the fleamarkets, they don't sell that kind of stuff, more kind of ethnic curios.
If you are staying in Cape-Town then I presume your hostel is next to Greenmarket square, in which case, you won't find anything - sorry.

They are so cool! I love the Moondancer to death! <3 I only wish I could see pictures of that Bow-Tie.

Were those the only SA ponies made? Was there ever a Firefly or a Glory or a Cotton Candy or so forth? I've never heard of them.

Thanks, pinkkittywinks. I hope there were.

You know, I don't think I've ever seen a SA Moonstone. What pose was she in?

And I'm STILL going to try and hunt down photos of a Bow-Tie, even though there probably aren't any.

i haven't seen SA moonstone either, i only know she exists. here is what i would think she is like Happy i am guessing she would stand in the same pose as SA windy Smile and would have small block coloured symbols, maybe a little like peru moonstones symbols Smile solid blue. and of course she would have the long rainbow mane and tail Big Ups

i haven't seen a picture of SA bowtie but i have been given a description of her. She is in the same pose as SA bubbles and is a dark blue and has a dark pink mane and tail (think heatthrob pink) and she has small bow symbols.

i know a description isn't quite the same as a picture, but i am sure one will pop up oneday for us all to see Satisfied

love pkw xxxx

just incase this hasn't been mentioned, SA ponies had back card stories written in Afrikaans, one of South Africa's official languages (and my first language) .

a SA pony ( and even more so an SA pony backcard) is my absolute grail. I would give up more than half my collection for one of these. They were made with Afrikaaners as their target audience (which I am an Afrikaaner if you cant tell =P ) so these have a speacial place in my heart, and I can only hope that one day I'll have the luck of getting hold of one of these girls. I live in Texas now, so sadly my chances arn't very high.
