#1: Just showing of my skillz, lol (Baby Skyflier) Author: FloralHippo, Location: Dallas, TXPosted: 0 ---- ^_^ I am very pleased with myself! I managed to finish a non-swap custom for the first time in a long time. AND I think I have improved on the eyes as well! Unfortunately, my picture-taking skills still leave something to be desired, so it's hard to tell! I will try to take better pictures in the morning -- I was just so excited that I wanted to share right away!
First Picture: Skyflier Brigade (Baby's Display Side)
Second Picture: NDS without flash/ Third Picture: NDS with flash :
Fourth Picture: Baby Skyflier's Face
Baby Skyflier was made from a baity Baby Moondancer with a damaged horn. She has a replacement horn made of Sculpey, slightly larger than normal.
Her body color is a custom mix of Delta Creamcoat acrylics (six parts "Lisa Pink", one part "Orange", and a tiny amount of "White"), while her eyes and kites are "Lilac", and her kite-strings are "Lime Sorbet".
She was rehaired with Dollyhair's "Sugarberry" for most of her mane, and some white vintage pony-hair for her unicorn streak. Since I painted over the plug-holes, I had to poke new ones in with a needle, which is why her hair falls in the opposite direction from Baby Moondancer's.
Thanks for checking her out! I'll get much better pictures of her face when it's daylight tomorrow.

If you wash it with some conditioner, you should be able to wrap it around her neck and dry to fall in the direction you want. =)
