I'm one of those dorks that absolutely loved Anatomy and Physiology and who thinks that anatomical drawings are gorgeous and amazing.

I've been planning a series around anatomical structures that I find particularly beautiful or interesting and this is the first one to be completed.

Hair is a blend of Candy Apple and Cherry Pie for the red, and Bobby Blue and After Midnight for the blue.

Eyes and symbols 100% hand painted, and I am quiet delighted at how well the heart turned out. Happy

She was named "Vena" after the Superior and Inferior Vena Cava, the large veins that carry blood to the right atrium of the heart.
