So this guy has been taking up most of my time recently (poor neglected swap ponies...lol...)~ anyways, pics first, explanation later:

Fawkes back details:

And the yellow fabric on the hat and cloak is glittery. I had to take an unfocused picture to show it here:

So where to begin on him!! Drunk

Credit for his design goes to WhinnieMe (she's on DA).

His symbol is a pair of socks~ he always asks for socks as gifts, but instead always gets books. Smile

The cutie mark is his wand and lemon drop candies he keeps in his pocket.
Fawkes was sculpted out of clay and has a magnet in his bum so he can sit on Dumbledore's back without falling off!
The cloak and hat were hand stitched and are both removable.
He does have a beard that is kept in place with a tie of sorts. His hair is white witch from DH.
His glasses are one piece of wire and are glued in place.
His body is part airbrushed, part hand painted. He is supposed to be a dapple horse Smile

You did a great job and I love the dapple look. I didn't even notice the beard at first and had to take a second look.

The socks! Perfect choice for a symbol! The instant I saw them I remembered that tidbit from the book.

I love all the details that make him Dumbledore.

Haha, he is perfect, Bunne! I think you really captured the essence of Dumbledore. Wink

I love his spots, too. The socks symbols was a great idea!!

He looks amazing! Lemon drop candies as his cutie mark...this really made me laugh. I love his socks too. :3 You did a great job! Dumbledore is one of my favorite characters in the HP series.

gorgeous! i love the dappling, and his eyes are perfect. wonderful work on his costume, especially the glasses. you've pinked the perfect pose for him, and i love his beard. and fawkes, of course, is awesome too. amazing job!
