Spring is the Season of Love Contest


Help us celebrate springtime by entering the Arena’s Spring is the Season of Love Custom Contest!

Design and create a custom celebrating the joys of spring and love. This theme has endless possibilities and we can’t wait to see what our many talented members will come up with!

Custom Pony
Create a spring love themed custom using any generation or type of pony for your entry. How you customize the pony is totally up to you! You can sculpt, rehair, paint, dye, decopage, etc... Anything goes!


Dates: All entries will be due before midnight on March 15th

How to enter: Please keep your entry a secret until after the judging! Once the contest is over, you are free to show off and discuss your entries in the Customs forum.

To submit your entry, PM the account CustomsContest with photos of your custom. You may submit as many pics as you like, but please keep the sizes to no more than 600x600 pixels and no more than 100KB each. Photos must be free of signatures or watermarks that would identify the customizer.

In your message, explain the name of your custom and if you like, add some text about how and why you designed your entry the way you did.

Each entrant will be given an album in a special contest gallery. All photos, as well any text and backstory on the custom, will be placed into this album. The customizer's name will not be revealed in the album until after the judging.



Judging: Judging will be accomplished through a public vote held from18 March - 28 March . More details on that as the time approaches!

The winners will get to select a prize, in an order determined firstly by votes and secondly (if necessary) by random.org.


Frequently Asked Questions

Can I enter more than one pony? You may submit one entry per category but no multiples in any single catagory.

Can my entry include props or pony wear or custom-made scenery? Yes! If you would like to create special accessories for your custom, go for it!

Can I enter a custom which I've already created, which happens to fit the theme? No, your entry should be new (something that we haven't seen before) - a pony designed just for the contest. Your entry should be in your possession and kept secret during the contest. Afterwards, you may sell or do whatever you wish with it!

Can mods or admins enter? Only for fun - their entries will not be present for judging.

Can I enter a pony made by someone else? No. You should be the creator of your own entry.
