Use a iron or curling iron to straighten the tinsel. Set it on low heat. It works wonders!
For G3s (plastic tinsel):
Never use a curling iron or iron..it'll melt the tinsel..No methods to tame the tinsel that I know of yet...:(

I keep thining it maybe a great idea but can never find the stuff when I go to my local food store. Shall have to go to the bigger one up the block I guess.
