I am best at drawing animation-style and the occasional realistic animal, with very simple backgrounds, photograph backgrounds, or no background at all. My artistic specialties include My Little Pony (obviously), Disney, Anime, Anthropomorphic Fursonas, etc. I will NOT draw Neopets on a commission basis (I love them, but commissions are against the rules). I also will not draw bloody/gory/violent/disturbing stuff, Robots or anything with a Religious motif. Think CUTE!!

I will always e-mail you with work-in-progress or sketch versions of your artwork before it is finished, to make certain that you will be satisfied with the end result. I will be happy to make any changes as you dictate.

I can provide your artwork in any sizes you wish, and will be more than happy to convert them into adoptables and/or signatures for you.

PRICES:

Digital artwork starts at $15, which includes a very high resolution copy of your artwork burned onto CD-ROM and snail-mailed to you. I can also provide a high-quality color copy printout on cardstock for an extra $2.00.

Colored Pencil pieces also start at at $15, which includes a scanned copy of your artwork uploaded online, as well as the original snail-mailed to you.

Black-and-white inked lineart and finished pencil drawings start at $8, which includes a scanned copy e-mailed and the original snail-mailed. Another cool thing I can do with b&w lineart is make custom notepads, professionally cut and sealed with glue at the top, just like the kind you buy in a store. The price for these is $8.00 for a half-sheet-size notepad (5 1/2 inches by 4 inches; can also do other sizes if wanted) with sixty sheets. The store I work at has about 20 colors of paper to choose from, and the design possiblilities are endless. I have made these and sold them on eBay for close to $30 final bid, and I'd love to make one for you (for much less)!

Pencil drawings (realistic) start at $10, including the e-mailed scan and snail-mailed original.

Acrylic paintings start at $20, same deal as above.

Extra charges will be incurred for: Complex backgrounds and/or accessories, additional figures in the picture, larger size images (for real media), specialized instructions, or stuff I just don't really want to draw.

I will also consider Ponies for payment (please see my Want List), and occasionally (but NOT always) Art Trades.

SHIPPING:

Shipping is INCLUDED in the commission price for U.S. and Canada customers. Please PM for shipping prices for other countries.

PAYMENT:

I accept Paypal, money orders, cashier's checks, personal checks (must hold until cleared) and well-concealed cash, all in U.S. funds only.

I produce my best results in images that have little to no intense background. I can do anthro, realistic horse, and at times manga. I will draw almost any kinds of ponies, as long as the picture isn't overly gorey or explicit in adult ways.

Drawings and sketches are generally 9x12" if not a bit smaller, though they can be trimmed to fit your preferred size. Digital art can be of any size you wish, from tiny pixel ponies to full desktop backgrounds.

Before I colorize a sketch, I will PM you with it to see if you like it and need any changes made to it. Then I will PM you again with the finished product and spray it with a matte sealer before shipping flat in a bubble-lined envelope. For digital pictures, I will PM you from time to time with the progress of the picture, if it's a large or otherwise complex one. I'm afraid I'm unable to print out and mail digital drawings at this time as I no longer have a working printer.

I will work on ONE drawing at a time. First come, first served. Happy

I am working on improving my bgs. If you have something particular in mind, let me know. If you just want ponies doing something or posing with no bg that's fine too.

Paper is 9x12, but I can make it smaller.

Price depends on what you want - what type of media, bg is $1-2 extra depending on how complex, and how many ponies, critters, etc in the picture. Price begins at $3 for just pencil & shading or line art and goes up from there. I don't see charging more than $10 for a really complex piece with multiple ponies and bg. ^_^

All pieces will be scanned (which does cut off the very edges of my 9x12 paper). If you would like the actual piece shipped to you, you will pay actual shipping - any method you like.

I take paypal (preferred), money order, checks, and well concealed cash at your own risk. I will also trade for ponies: any G1 I don't have (contact me for details or with your trade list), occassionally G1 bait, possibly hair to customize with, and G3 I don't have (which aren't many). I will also consider art for art trades.

I do all-digital media. That means everything from the pony I draw to the background behind it is drawn on a wacom tablet. All commissions of mine are in full color and have a complete background. However, before I color said commission I always e-mail the customer a rough sketch to ask if I've done the commission right. I show them progress as I go along, and make sure that they are happy with the finished product before sending it out the print. All prints will be hand-signed by the artist. Said commissions (unless specified by the customer) will not appear on my website to protect the originality of said digital pieces.

Examples of my art are listed at www.raikougal.com, my website. I did all the pictures therein. (And no, in case you've noticed it has not been updated in quite awhile. LOL. ;)) I do mainly "anthro" ponies, that means ponies that walk on two legs/wear clothes, etc. I do not do 'traditional' (quadroped) pony artwork. I wish I could, but I can never get them right. Please make sure you look at my site and get a good feel for my style before requesting a commission.

I charge $5-$7.50 plus shipping for commissions, depending on the level of difficulty I percieve a piece to have. I accept paypal (preferred), and money orders. I do not accept personal checks, or cash. (The latter two cause way too many headaches, IMO.)

Shipping will usually be under $2, but that is entirely dependant on how the customer wants the piece shipped. If you want it shipped priority (say, for a birthday gift or something), then expect to pay more.

Currently I do not have any art that is for public sale. I do private commissions only.

Commissions will receive the original sketch of their art and an 8" x 10" print that will be printed off at my local photo department because the quality is better.
