To answer the question about how much the castle is here in the states, it's regularly $59, even at WalMart. Other places might have it for more. I've never considered getting it because it's so expensive and big and has no ponies...but if it comes with bonus ones...!
I agree, the one in the middle REALLY looks like a G1. But surely Hasbro wouldn't release a G1 pose in such a fanfare-less way? They'd make a huge deal about it, I think. There'd be publicity all over the place.
