However, not to be ruining anyones joy over this, but even though they have the same mold and everything- I kind of think that the first releases aee the prettiest.... - these look a little bit different...of course, it's 25 years since they first come out so it would have been a miracle if they were identical, but there is something about their hair...? and colors?

I do not know if I'm going to get these new ones- but I'm glad they did this in the old spirit of MLP and didn't fancy anything up! Go Hasbro!

i emailed hasbro australia and still have not gotten a reply. i am beyond thrilled. i dont even know what else to say except, what if sales volumes goes up after this phenomenal success and hasbro decides to make ponies thereafter with g1 moulds again, with packaging back in the 80s? with all the characters on the backcards. i guess my sentiments can only be appreciated by those who have have had the chance of owning an 80s my little pony and just to entice you ladies more, remember the crackle of the plastic? the whiff you took from that plastic mould? the way you caress her mane and tail almost in a trance like state? that will come back for us!
