Okay, I have searched on ebay's help page to try and find the answer to this question, and all I found were like a billion pages telling me how safe fast and secure paypal is. I get the point!

The problem I'm having is this: when I first started selling on ebay I was using a hotmail addy to have my paypal paments sent to. Since then I have changed my e-mail address and I would like to have my paypal payments from ebay sent to that address. I remember there being a preference setting somewhere on ebay saying "send payment notification to" and now I cannot for the life of me find where that was! I really need to have the e-mail addy changed over as I want to let the hotmail one be deleted. I tried removing the old hotmail addy from my paypal account, but all that did was keep me from recieving my payments.

Someone please tell me you know where this setting can be changed. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

the paypal address you have payments sent to is under seller preferences and also on each auction listing.
YOu also need to add that paypal address to paypal its self
What i would suggest as you can have more than one payment address held with paypal is to keep your existing one and add the new one.
You do this under profile tab on paypal

Wow Puzzlepony I'm impressed! I didn't know all that. I have seen the section under payment information when you're listing your auction that has a place to put in your paypal address. I belive it automatically puts in your original one unless you change it.

when over £1000 a week goes through paypal ebay and my 2 sites you learn alot quickly lol!
It will default to the paypal address under sellers profile on ebay unless you change it manually for each lisiting

the most important thing is that your address is added to yor paypal account
you do this under profile you can have something like 5 email addresses or more dependant on the account you have with them
