How are we going to call the G1 rereleases?

I created this poll to hear some of your ideas (and because I'm fairly obsessed with terminology, lol). Someone posed this question in the other thread and I thought it was worthwhile to think a little about it, just in case a miracle happens and Hasbro decides to release more old-style ponies. I don't want to get ahead of myself, but I got a funny feeling about this. Smile

Anyway. Please let me know what you think. ^_^

I've been calling them "new G1s", which I admit sounds like a bit of an oxymoron, but eh.. I couldn't think of anything better!

I've been calling them G1 reissues. I guess out of my G3 reissue habit.

I think something to do with "Anniversary Set" might be the most correct way, but that "G1 reissues" is also good/specific and would be the best way to describe more if there ever are are any.

I hadn't really thought about what to call them as a group, but I thought individually it could be RR (for re-release, instead of CF or FF) like when referring to them separately you would say RR Bluebelle.

When my daughter saw the photos, she called them "new 80's ponies".

Of course, she calls the G1's "80's ponies" and the G3's "real ponies".
