I'm Scoops and I actually grew up with the first generation of Littlest Pet Shop, so I have several of those. When the new ones came out, I was so repulsed by how much they didn't resemble actual animals as well as the first that I couldn't even think of buying them. I mean really what is the deal with making toys these days that have large heads, small bodies, and huge eyes? Anyway, they have recently grown on me and even though I told myself I wouldn't get any, I caved XD

They are pretty different from the first generation but I still think they are fun and cute. I am glad you are getting into them.
Which pets do you like so far?

Hmm thats tough. I always liked looking at the lambs and now that I have one I think they're adorable and want more. I also like the cows. My favorite animal is horses, but I don't know how much I like the LPS horses. I haven't seen any in person though, so it's hard to say.

I'm on a hunt for as many of the Teeniest pets I can get! I only have four but I crave more. The biggest down side is that so far the only singles you can get cost $3 a pop and well... I have all the ones I want from that now. haha

If anyone has any that they're willing to sell/trade I'll totally hit you up. o3o

I don't collect Littlest Pet Shop YET, but I love the ones my sister has and I always take pictured of them just because they're so cute!
For christmas I shall be getting my first ever LPS; the iguana (#1865)

I collected G1 LPS as a child. My first ever was the tail-wagging Dalmatian.

Unfortunately due to space issues, I am planning to sell almost all of my vintage LPS... Except for the Dalmatian. ^_^

I'm not all that interested in the newer LPS... Although I wouldn't mind a Jack Russell or two... Or more! I love their mold and I love Jackies!

I'm not "really" collecting (as I count past 100 now = thank goodness for local craigslist!!) = these are just super awesome friends for the ponies and of course, they are great for play packed up in a case or house when going to g'mas or for that matter, the doctor's or for long car trips :-)

so main reason stopping by here is I have a LPS platypus that's an extra in the box from that MO stuff and before I truck over to ebay, figured I'd offer her up here :-) and then, who knows, as the kids pair down or decide to find "favorites" to have (armies? oh my) this is a great place for that as well ( wish I could help with the lizard,frog,iguana trades - but my daughters just love all things reptile as well = go figure :-) )

so HEYA to everyone and glad to know there are others with shelves full with all these cute critters :-) for now we are strickly a new gen LPS house tho' = love the fancy/tattoo ones ! but who knows as I learn more about these guys :-)

I've been around the mlparena for quite some time, but I think this is the first time I've ever wandered into the LPS section. ^^; I started collecting G1 LPS as a kid, and my sisters and I amassed quite a collection. They're in a box now, but all nicely sorted out by set in little baggies. I'm not an active collector, but I always pick them up at thrift stores or garage sales when I find them.

Hey, I'm really unsure as to this LPS stuff, but from pictures I think I had some Kenner LPS as a kid! I'm going to try to dig it out the attic to get some ID's
