Although I am sometimes tempted by other LPS animals like the hermit crabs or seahorses, I'm only collecting the snails. If I don't limit myself I think I'd be overrun!

lol Ok not really. I have a very small but very loved collection of the G2s.
I'm hoping to add the puffin in the near future as he is just too cool and reminds me of our honeymoon in Iceland

But really I'm here to educate myself a bit I guess. I actually come across boxed G1s a lot but I've never bothered picking them up as I was worried I'd be stuck with them.
However I've had a couple of "tellings off" now and I guess I can see your point - if someone told me they'd found lots of moc ponies and not bothered I'd be pretty upset too.
So yeah - look forward to hanging out with you all!

I had one Gen 1 LPS as a kid and I would like to get him (Its was the color change chameleon) eventually.

I'm slightly addicted ever since they came out with the platypus offer (cause I love some weird critters)

I collect the weirdos, and the cats that looks like mine and sometimes the ponies. So really I have a bunch of doggies/kitties that need new homes that I have picked up at the flea market over the years.

I am in the works of possibly customizing a few LPS. I have the ideas but not the time right now. I want to make some MLP LPS lol!

I have been collecting well, since the LPS came out in 1992. My family used to get them for me when I was in 1st grade, so I have kept all that I could over the years. I have been on the hunt for pieces since 2003 when I grew up and gotta job (lol) So now here I am joining forums out of frustartion of finding nothing good (G1 LPS related) in my hometown lately. I'm all for the vintage LPS, not fond of the newer ones, except for the frogs, iguanas, bugs, and foresty themed ones. Hoping to buy and trade LPS and MLP here. Also I've decided to work on my childhood petite pony collection, lil pretties, and lil litters. That is all MLP related things I collect though. I have a small box of my original ponies, and if I were to add to them I would only want the Glittery Sweetheart Sister Ponies.
*Sighs*
I only wish I had free $$ waiting to be used toward my collections... evilbay just gets too up there just about everytime I want an item..... someday things will be more promising
Anywho, I'm here to make friends, learn, and grow as a fellow LPS and MLP hobbiest.

I've become slightly enamoured with LPS lately (I blame it on the G3.5 ponies.... I simply have no interest in them, or rather, in customising them). I'm more interested in customising them, but I do have a few which I have kept MIB (namely the ferrets and the cute Bloodhound looking lil doggie)... I've done a few LPS customs now and am lookin at doing more!!

I collected relatively seriously throughout the G1 run (through 1996), although I never focused on Dazzling Hair Pets or the cartoon series. In adulthood, I've been working on completing my collection and getting more MIB items. I collecting G1 LPS exclusively.
