Addicted to SS Bangles - my own Giant Plushie is ready!!!

Hi all,

I'm proud to present a project which took me and my mom 2 months to complete: my very own giant plushie heart

"Bangles"

She was made after the design of the 2nd generation So Soft Pony Bangles, who is my absolutely favourite pony. Her design is basically from the plushie pattern made by Rosesare, which I got from a german pony collector who bought it a few years ago from Rosesare itself.

Now on the general issues:

I chosed some baby rose fleece fabric (got this very cheap for only approx. 3,40$ per 2,21m² and needed only 3m² for her) which matches Bangles body color the best I think. The symbols and eyes were made from different types of fabric and were sewn securely on the body after stuffing. The hair was made from high quality wool, because jumbo braid hair is very expensive in Germany and to find the colors, which matches Bangles hair is very difficult to find, but this wool looks great. The mane is a bit too short but as you know Bangles has not so long hair it's okay. The horn was made out of a pattern I created by myself and it looks like the real thing, doesn't it?

She was stuffed with nearly 10kg of stuffing material, which I got as waste from a german bed producing company for only 2€ (approx. 2,70$) but it was a hard time removing the real stuffing material from fabric rests but finally I managed it. I added some pieces of wood inside the legs for improve her stand. It was stuffed very well so it's hardly touchable.

I have to thank my mom who sewed the big parts with a sewing machine together :hug:, I'm not good at it myself even if I can sew very well by hand.

So what do you think? Isn't she a beauty? I'm so happy to have a giant plushie now, she is so huge and so lovely and I like to snuzzle her always. If you have questions please PM me, I'm always happy to work out a deal if you want an own and like to comission me.
