LOL! AC How did you do that!!!
I use Dylon here in the UK.. It works fine for me.. the pot does have to actually be boiling for it to take though.... But I don't like dying ponies.. I always get slotches and it make a big mess of my kitchen... bleh!

I can't say it often enough... LOL! Dylon dye needs to be boiling all the time while the pony is in it, it isn't enough yo pop it in a hot dye bath...
I've never tested Rit, but worked a lot with Dylon and yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if it is a little different in the states...
But still, weird that it stripped the dye! o_O
