hmmm, thats strange . . . yet the pony looks so cool like that! Big Ups That is one heck of an awesome mistake to make! Happy If only my mistakes ended up as pretty as that Wink

As for dylon, I've never had a problem with it (Well I say me, more like my friend Poke Tounge ) but then again, I'm in the UK . . . we could just get strange mutant pots of extra strong Dylon over here Wink

Loads of love from Laura xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Actually, since dye can rub off on other ponies and such, I think it's possible to strip the secondary dye (so no doubt that's what happened). Original pony dye can't be because it was mixed with the vinyl before it set, so it's part of the plastic.

So very strange.

LOL! AC How did you do that!!!

I use Dylon here in the UK.. It works fine for me.. the pot does have to actually be boiling for it to take though.... But I don't like dying ponies.. I always get slotches and it make a big mess of my kitchen... bleh!

Weird! She looks really cool that way though, kind of like a horse custom. Happy

yeah -- I have never had success with Dylon ---

HAHA - Nightglider was working on a custom for me and left the pony in a pot of the whole Dylon packet for like 6 hours and it never changed color

I can't say it often enough... LOL! Dylon dye needs to be boiling all the time while the pony is in it, it isn't enough yo pop it in a hot dye bath... Wink

I've never tested Rit, but worked a lot with Dylon and yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if it is a little different in the states...

But still, weird that it stripped the dye! o_O
