I usually cut out the excess along the inner rim of the neck plug with an xacto. Customizing 101: Dismantling the Pony

I also trim around the bottom of the neck plug. I make it kind of "arrow" shape and it's easier to push it back into the body. Example

I use Aleene's Flexible Stretchable Fabric Glue to secure the hair plugs. I like it because it's water proof and never gets brittle.

All good ideas! I like where this is going...an education for PonyBard! LOL! (Not to mention anyone else who might have the same questions!)

Does anyone else have a suggestion by chance? Either about this, or about something else used for customizing?
