I have these 2 cuties I'm looking to sell. They are not in the best shape, both have frizzy hair and the pink one is missing her tail. The yellow ones tail is very thin. Their bodies and eye paint are great though! What should I charge for them?

I thought the Takara ponies were licensed by Hasbro to be released as the Japanese MLPs?
I'm not sure. Could someone fill me in on this? I've heard both that they're fakies and that they're official. :<

These are not real Takaras. They are fake takaras. Takaras are technically Japanese MLPs... and those up there are fake ones.

They are definitely fake, but also highly sought after and HTF, soo I'm thinking quite a bit more than that. I mean even Princess Rinse and Spit goes for $10, lol. These are much cuter, hehe.

Takara did have a license from Hasbro to sell ponies, but only the adult version has been found to be authentic. So far all the babies found have proven to be manufactured by companies other than Takara. Woosie has alot more info on her site,

Well, I paid 8 or so for my pair, and they were in nicer condition. Both had nice hair! But I guess it depends.

I think you could easily get $8 -$10 for the pair even if their hair isn't in great condition, they are still as cute as a button!

i sold one that was not the greatest condition and it went for around $7 on ebay. that was quite a while back though. they are really cute thought

I was really confused on that. xD

Princess rinse n spit can go for $10 but is often less. The times I've seen the takara's they were cheap like that too but it depends on who's bidding.

These ones aren't uncommon but I have had little luck in landing any of them so far. The person that was selling me one totally flaked at the end to try to make more money. And the other few times I was too slow. So they don't sell for very much but are in demand. I recommend you do an auction to give everyone a fair shot.

I think it's so funny that there are a few sought-after fakies out there!
