see this stuff?
PLEASE help me figure out what fair asking prices are on it, please!
Now here are my guesses, but they're purely GUESSES at values, can anyone guess along with me? If I were to list them blindly on ebay this is where I'd start, but would people think I was nuts with my prices, or think I was giving them away... or think they were fair?!?!?!?!?!
Thanks so much!
opening bid guesses:
slide $50
see saw $50
pink slide twin $30
see saw twins $30

are you talking about 50 for just the slide not the ponies? That seems awfully high to me. I think 50 to 60 for the complete set including the ponies sounds more accurate.

I don't know, I never see them sold. I agree with Baby-Honey--it's just going to depend on who's looking. Do you think you might get more by just listing them on the arent and TP and just waiting? I'd say if you list them on ebay, just ask what you think is fair--you know better than most. HTF G2s seem like they could be hard to get a fair price for on ebay, just because the people looking for them might not see the auction.
Are these just doubles you have? You're not giving up on the G2 collection, are you?

I think you might have better luck getting really good prices if you advertise here alot and on the trading post.
I would also suggest waiting until after the holidays. Shoppers looking for gifts are pretty much finished by now, since everything would need to be shipped, and collectors are going on vacation and won't be on ebay. (like me.
Though I do say, I would only be bidding for the sake of reselling on these ponies. MIB, would be a different story.
Definitely groom them before you list them. Their hair in ties like that makes them look played with, and they won't go as high as ones that are properly smooth and conditioned.
The slide twins are tough to price out. I have bid up to $250 for them, on the auction that Babyelf won (I think it was BabyElf, might have been WingedElf? Something-elf was their username). Personally, I think that was a bidding war, since it went for over $700. The seller got lucky.
The slide twins were also won by another member here, for 70 euros. That one should still be fairly fresh on the brag arena, since it was fairly recent. The only reason they got them for that price was because I wasn't bidding against them. The buyer got lucky that time.
Another member here got a loose pair for $100 on french ebay. For a loose pair, this seems fairly.... accurate. If it was well advertised and pictured. No accessories though, and that could make a difference. Especially since they are so cute with their slide!
For some reason the slide twins are more sought after than the rest... I dont' think they are actually more rare.
I would say an opening bid of $30 for the slide twin is about right. If you want to list her by herself. Maybe tack on a reserve of $50. Definitely advertise around here, though.
Me, I would pair her with her slide though and raise the opening bid or put a reserve on it. I don't think anyone will pay $50 for just the slide. I certainly wouldn't.
The seesaw twins tend to sell for around $50-75 MIB. Again, I would pair them with their accessory, and then start bidding at $50, or put a reserve on the auction. Or both. It sort of depends what is your minimum asking price.
Things also depend on how fast you want them sold. If you are willing to wait awhile, a buyer will eventually come along willing to pay a higher price than what you might get on ebay.

Seems like Thunderwing has answered your question nicely ^_^
I was going to say the same thing, that I think it best to sell hem with their accessory, cause that always looks more appealing than just a pony, or just an accessory ;D
And yes, advertise advertise ADVERTISE! I would post them up here and at the TP first, and wait to see if you get an offer you like, and if not, send them to ebay with a reserve.
Thats my two cents, which is basically a recycled version of what Thunderwing just told you XD
