Ok, so this is my latest custom Divine, so named because I saw an ad in a magazine fro Divine chocholate and liked the graphics used. She is simply loosely based on that ad.

Her body was a little mauled, she has a chew-mark on her left ear and one on her forehead but the paint covers that!
She was gradient dyed in Fluorescent Green Dylon dye and for the fun of it I dipped her face in the bath too!
Really wasn't too sure it would work but it did!

Rehaired in Sour Apple Martini, Wisteria, Virgin Snow, Deadly Nightshade and Key lime by Dollyhair. All paint work in acrylics by Golden and Windsor Newton, symbol style inspired by actual G3 symbols as well as work by LoveLauraLand and other artists, eyes in a natural style a'la PoniesYeah and LoveLauraLand (loosely based on the manga tutorial she shared with us) Lashes and eye makeup a'la DarkHorse and a few others.

She's lovely- the dye job worked perfectly, and her colors are great.
As for the second half of your post... I will die if I have to name every customizer, artist, musician or quilter who inspired any part of my work!!!!
