Actually, I'd prefer the German pony over the US pony.
I want one so bad! >_<;
I didn't see that we had the chance to order one until it was too late though.
AND THEY WERE ONLY 20 BUCKS!!!
I would have paid that price in a heart beat.
But now I'll probably wind up paying over $50 for one.

...oh really? =o
Well damn!
I thought they were just $19.50! XD
Still though; I'd rather pay 30 than 50+ ...

Nope, not yet for me. Just be patient because there are a HUGE amount of requests right now. O_o If I remember correctly, people can't pick up the exclusives they ordered until they go to the fair, so when the fair starts I can see folks coming back and offering their extras.
I'll get one eventually, so I'm not worrying. Whether I get one from someone on here, or if I had to resort to eBay, I'll do so. Wouldn't be the first time.
But patience, all you grasshoppers.

Out of my 6 so far 5 are definetly spoken for, already helping 2 members. All I can say is maybe enter my raffle! I do have a Mystery G3 prize where the winner can send me their want list, who knows, i could make my 6th that prize, hehe....
Otherwise, if there are left overs and we get the chance to buy more at the fair, i'll do what i can!

I wondered about what was happening for everyone who posted as I didn't see any responses from people able to pick them up.
I think that demand may well outstrip supply again.

Ah sorry you have not had any luck, but many of us who are going where asked before the fair pony was announced to pick them up for them. Plus with a limit of 3, each person going can only help a two folks and last time I saw it that thread was up to what 7 pages?

I haven't had any luck either : /
They should make it so you can purchase through a website like some other conventions are doing........I guess its hard with so much demand. |
The US Fair is the first to run and is making sure those attending shall have there shot at getting some ponies. I am sure WF and company will open it up once they have a better idea of how many are being pre-ordered by attendees.

yeah, and now, with people get the fair pony they are just going to put a 30 dollar pony on ebay for over 100 bucks. I can't do 100 bucks because i have a baby now, and i'm limiting my self with ponys. But i'm on the list for the German pony and the fair pony would just make my day. |
Thats not very fair to say, many of us who are going and are picking them up for folks are not asking for anything extra, just the same price we paid. Yes there are those who will charge more, but then there always will be.

There are many reasons for the price difference two that come to mind is the fact that the US Fair site and such cost more then the German site and I believe the US Fairs pony is a lower number of ponies made, 1,000, while the Euro one is shared and therefore more available I believe. Also the US Pony while pink is site exclusive and has Hasbro home state on her tush.

Yes they have a list of those who made it in before they ran out and a waiting list, it is in there thread. I want to say page 6 or 7 and I got my conformation email last night on them.

I would also chime in to add that some people may be wanting to wait until after the convention to offer their extra ponies to people.
I'm going to the convention, and I ordered as many ponies as possible. But I don't really want to start promising them to people until I actually have them in my hands. You know?

There is a German pony?
Geese I wish I could have found that out earlier. I bet it's much prettier then our Remake U.S. fair pony. Yeah I don't even really want her.
