I certainly hole that's not the new art. I liked the older art better, like back in 2003-2005 type style. It's almost like they're taking the name literally and making them little.

Not only will they be doing Core 7 next year, it looks like Ponyville will be taking over the line completely! You know, I never liked those stupid buggers. Anyway, I'm thinking of dumping the whole concept of collecting (new ponies). Hasbro really must be trying to destroy the line.

What is up with Starsong's wings, anyway? And I hate Toola-Roola's hair! OMG, that is so wrong!

EDIT-It's not that I hate the art itself. I think she did a good job on it. I just hate the concept of this being the art for the entire line. I didn't notice that this was a concept. When I posted this I thought this was the final art.

In the poster they actually look kinda cute. I like how their hair is done, especially Cheerlie's pigtails. Cute. I wonder if this poster is suppose to be what the plastic clothing dress ups are for.

I just thought of something else. Notice how Starsong, Rainbow Dash, and obviously Pinkie are in the forefront. They are the major players in the Ponyville game as well; those 3 appear all over the place (like in Pinkie Pie's picture frame), and are the only ones to blink their eyes in the main screen and talk in the game (other than Cheerilee)! Do you think they are the "Top 3" of the Core 7, and are the main ponies of the main ponies!

I think the art is adorable. ^^ But I don't think I'd be entirely happy with the idea of switching the awesome current G3 art for this. Maybe they're gonna do Core 7 for Ponyville and this is what their art looks like...?

As long as this art is only for the ponyville line, I'm okay with it.
If it because the replacement art for the entire hasbro line, i'm not going to be pleased with it at all.

I really don't like them. they look simple, and not very detailed.....*cringe*, WHY!? I love the pony art on the Ponyville adverts/commercials. SO cute, yet without loosing that Pony-ness about them. These however, I'm not warming to at all........It looks a bit, dare I say.....uhhh, Cheaper?
I hope they don't stay like that.....

Could it be....dunn dunn dunn....the sneak peek into, dare I say it, the G4's? Just a crazy guess at this point. I remember a while back discussions over the possiblity of G4's.

I think I would accept it as a Ponyville Artwork, but for the biger ponies it's tawdry...no very detailled and the colouring ist zu simple for my taste

i dont like it, but has it ever been discussed as to why they chose these 7 ponies to be released for everything for their 25th anniversary year? i am very disappointed in this year's ponies and i have pretty much quit collecting mlp's. the ponyvilles are the only mlp items i care about anymore. *rolls eyes*

I like them a lot. But i REALLY don't hope this means we will only be seeing ponyville ponies in the future! I'm only bothered by Starsongs "flutter" wings. O_o I love the hairstyles. It gives them some more personality and i don't get why the ponies didn't have any decent hairstyles before . In the cartoons and artwork all ponies basicly looked the same apart from their colors and symbol, i think that is a whole lot cheaper. I always liked those little story books because of some of the fun hairstyles some ponies have.
