PostPosted: 0    Post subject: Noooo... bad BAD kitty!!!

I just got home from vacation and found a horrible thing... my kitty has chewed on one of my ponies. But not just ANY pony... she's (or possibly it was my boy kitty, too) chewed on the Baby Hopscotch that I JUST ACQUIRED!!!! Depressed
I literally just won this pretty girl, one of my GRAILS, on Ebay and paid $40 for her. She came in the mail the day I left... so I just opened her, admired her, and put her with the rest of my ponies.
I come home today to find her set on a table and she's been chewed! red_velvet_rose, who was cat sitting for me, found her Sad I'm sooooooo sad!!!!! I mean, I barely even got to enjoy her, and she's been chewed!!!!!!!
I'm so utterly sad right now. Depressed Depressed Depressed

Has this ever happened to anyone else? I just... I don't know what to do now. Do I try forever again to find another Baby Hopscotch (I've literally been looking for a year!) or do I keep the chewed girl? Sad She's definitely not worth what I paid anymore.

We have some very talented fixer-upper people who may be able to help. Do you have pics of the damage?

As for keeping her, that's up to you. If you have your heart set on an extremely mint one, then sell this one and try again. If you feel you'll love her regardless, then keep her ^__^

And Tigeress has a habit of going after my Ponies. The door to my room is kept FIRMLY shut, even more so with the puppy. *shivers* I'm lucky all the cat's done so far is mess up some of my hairdos. I do have several of the first G3s (Kimono, PP, Sparkleworks, and some others) with bite mark damage from a pet rat I had, plus some childhood Ponies have bunny nibbles. I still love them very much.

My cats love to play ponies with me, but have NEVER harmed a single one! I'm sorry to hear about your bad kitty. My cats are 1 year, 9 and 12. they like the tails and only carry them by the tails. The 9year old loves pony accessories- tails, ribbons, necklaces and bibs. The 1 year old loves pony saddles.

About 6 months ago I came home and found Cuddles on the floor and several others knocked from my desk, but they are like kids you put it up they knock 'em over put 'em up again it gets knocked over they think it is a game.

I am so sorry to hear that! Pets and ponies are never a good combination! I know this sounds a little strange but you could try wiping them over with vinegar it will make them smell terrible but I can guarantee that puss will not want to chew on them!

Oh no! I'm so sorry, psyknife.
I've never had a pony chewed up by a pet before, but that must be so awful. Hug

That's the weird thing, I've never had that happen either... my kitties have NEVER done that... but it's like they KNEW which one to chew up to let mommy know that they were mad she went out of town Sad *sigh* Last time I was gone more than 3 days they peed on my bed.

Ouch, well maybe next time you should keep them outside when you go out of town. Then they won't knaw on little ponies. Wink

my dog Mocha, when he was a puppy loved ponies ugh. The first one he got was a cotton candy, which was no big deal, so replaceable. 2nd one was a plush firefly, again no big deal, he loved that thing for a while. 3rd was a baby pony i dont recall. But the last one he got, I went to Germany and went flea marketing with my friends there and found a MINT italy trickles, i know shes not overly rare but she had sentimental value from Germany ya know. Well she had fallen off a shelf after i had cleaned her and I couldnt find Mocha anywhere, so I go in the room and there he was munching away on one of her legs he ripped off. Poor thing. He never got ahold of any ponies after that thank god. But it sucked lol.

I had a cat that would pick one thing and destroy it whenever I went away for a few days. One time it was a suncatcher the next it was a waterbed. I would always come home to an unexpected suprise.

I'm sorry about Hopscotch. They always seem to pick the pricey ones. My kitties don't seem that interested in the ponies but they like to try to steal ribbons and accessories.

I'm sorry to hear Sad . But like it has been said, there are some very talented people around here. I'm sure they can help you to restore Baby Hopscotch Smile . I have a cat too and he is soooo curious... Nothing is safe, he will get it when he wants it. So I can't leave a pony in a room with him alone. But I know this won't help you much Sad .

Yikes...I'm sorry to hear that baby hopscotch met a terrible fate. I would be upset too. It makes me nervous though because I am about to go away for a week, and I hope I don't come home to angry pony hungry kitties.
